The Institute of Vine and Wine – Pleven has a programme accreditation for the training of doctoral students in the professional field 6.1 Plant-growing, scientific specialty ‘Vine-growing’. The terms and conditions for obtaining the educational and scientific degree of doctor (admission to doctoral studies, training, conducting public defence) are in accordance with the Laws and Regulations in force in the Republic of Bulgaria and the Agricultural Academy governing the development of academic staff. Doctoral studies are conducted in a full-time, part-time or independent form of study with preparation periods regulated by the above-mentioned regulations. Doctoral candidates may be graduates of a master’s degree.
